Environmental Responsibility

Mercer Bradley is dedicated to minimizing our environmental impact through the following initiatives:

  1. Resource Efficiency: We strive to reduce energy consumption and waste in our offices by implementing energy-efficient practices, offering a hybrid work from home model that reduces the carbon footprint and encouraging recycling and responsible use of resources.
  2. Sustainable Procurement: We prioritize the procurement of eco-friendly products and services, including office supplies and technology, from suppliers who share our commitment to environmental sustainability. We prioritize supporting local service providers and vendors when possible.
  3. Digital Transformation: In 2015, we began the process of becoming paperless and are proud to say that we have been successful in this endeavor. From electronic greeting cards to obtaining e-signatures on all of our documents, we have utilized technology to its fullest to minimize paper usage.

Social Responsibility

  3. Community Involvement & Sustainability: We help those close to home – and those very far away. Our staff members volunteer at or financially support food banks, homeless shelters, and educational organizations that support the future of Winnipeg and the business community. Each team member receives a volunteer day to use for supporting a cause of their choosing.
  4. Fundraising & Sponsorships: We attend and sponsor fundraising and community events, as well as make annual contributions to an endowment fund with the CPA Manitoba Foundation. In lieu of holiday cards, each employee is invited to identify a charity that is meaningful to them. A donation is made on their behalf in the spirit of the season. Individually, we sit on boards and committees, sell raffle tickets, attend events, and lend a helping hand where we can.
  5. Commitment to Community: As a company, we are committed to finding the right person for the right opportunity at exactly the right time. In our work and in the community, we are always working to make it right.
