With all the new job opportunities being created, there has been a decrease in full-time/permanent jobs. There are roughly 220 full time jobs to every 325 part-time/contract opportunities. This being said, more available candidates are expanding their options to include contract work.

According to a recent Workopolis survey, 2010 marks the start of “the talent hunt decade”. Their findings state, in the coming decade companies will have to work harder to recruit and retain employees and won’t be able to count on top talent coming to them.

From June 6 to 12, Mercer Bradley will join more than 1300 other members of The Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services (ACSESS) in celebrating Staffing for Canada Week. Certified General Accountant with extensive financial and cost accounting experience. This candidate has been responsible for full cycle accounting, cash flow management, costing, audit preparation including tax matters for a medium sized organization that manufactures a product for the construction industry. While in this role, he took on operational responsibilities that rolled out sales and marketing initiatives within a broad North American marketplace. Most recently he has been involved in the financial and costing requirements of a printing/publishing company.
