Vacation time, although a much needed break from work to rejuvenate the spirit, can also be a time of stress to an employer as the work still needs to get done. Then, on top of that, we are now facing the roll out of HST. Regions that have introduced a value-added tax (like the HST) see increases in productivity and investments. This means more work for updating and implementing the systems to accommodate for HST, and also an increase to the work being done in your accounting department. We would love to be the solution to your vacation coverage challenges and your additional HST workload.
