Senior Level Accounting Manager with many years of experience in the travel, banking/finance and non-profit. Areas of expertise include financial statement preparation, employee supervision, complex reconciliations and the ongoing integration of a front end transaction based software to the general ledger. This candidate is flexible and available until December 2010!
Designated Certified General Accountant with significant experience with internal audit of a large multi-national organization. This candidate has performed financial and operational audits as well as regulatory reporting compliance review. Other experience includes control testing, making recommendations for control improvements in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX or MI 52-109) legislation. This candidate holds themself to a high level of excellence and has a significant interest in organizational risk management.
This experienced Operations Manager with a flair for finance is looking for a role that will allow him to continue to expand on his career as he pursues a CGA designation. He has previously managed teams of 25 people while overseeing operations including all accounting, budgeting, payroll, financial analysis, credit management, and financial management including source deduction, T4 and GST remittances. Most recently he was employed as a Finance and Operations Manager for an international medical school where he completed a business plan for an external financing proposal. He has since been retained on a contract basis by this same organization as a consultant to the COO. He describes himself as someone who is constantly learning and his references state that “He knows a lot. He is quite capable of handling any set of books.”
