This solid Accounting Professional brings many years of experience at the Accounting Supervisor/Manager level. Responsibilities have included financial statement preparation, budgeting and forecasting as well as all related variance analysis. She has worked closely with regional/divisional offices in her previous and current roles to troubleshoot issues and streamline processes. She has a very unassuming yet assertive approach, is highly respected by her peers, superiors and subordinates. References comment on her exceptionally high level of pride in her work. She has experience working in travel & insurance, manufacturing & food processing as well as hands on experience with Great Plains . She is looking for a position where she can settle, learn the business and make ongoing contributions.
This designated CGA has a significant background in property management and has performed year-end financial statements and files, cost reconciliations, and bookkeeping for over 30 properties. He also has extensive experience with construction accounting, entering billings for work and receipts. Most recently, he was involved in spearheading the implementation of the finance/accounting section of a new retail software package (SAP) to be used in a large department store. This also consisted of training employees on the new software as well as developing finance polices for same. He has developed an extremely hard work ethic and a solid understanding of accounting from nearly 3 years of Public Practice. This candidate is looking for an opportunity that will allow him to be challenged, mentored and develop ownership of his career.
Our candidate, a designated CGA with a background in Sox, IFRS, Internal Audit and Public Practice, has extensive experience in budget preparation, policy review and complicated reporting that provides recommendations to management. She is highly analytical and possesses excellent communication skills. Her references consistently discuss her strength in being able to communicate with internal and external clients combined with her ability to improve processes and procedures. Most recently our candidate has held the position of Financial Analyst with a large not-for-profit organization and has been working on an IFRS Standardization review. In the past she has managed up to 4 full-time staff members and has enjoyed the mentoring aspect of being a supervisor.
