As a result of our success and growth in Vancouver, Mercer Bradley is looking for an experienced Business Development Specialist who demonstrates self-confidence, perseverance, dynamic communication skills and a strong sense of urgency to join our Vancouver team.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will:
- work in an exciting team environment
- identify new business opportunities
- define client business requirements
- sell Accounting / Finance staffing & recruitment services
- develop and expand existing client relationships
- manage ongoing engagements
- make telephone sales calls
- conduct in-person meetings with senior-level executives and hiring managers for the purpose of identifying their staffing needs and prospecting new business
- make recommendations to clients regarding the top talent available to meet their needs
- provide customer service for existing clients to ensure their expectations are being met
The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of demonstrated success in the recruitment profession; be friendly, flexible, intelligent, confident, honest, ambitious, tenacious, proactive, positive and social. Preference will be given to those that have a recognized accounting designation (CA, CMA, or CGA).
